She worked at Chanel One , she burst on to the set of the live broadcast of the news on Monday evening . Shouting “Stop the War . No to war”. She also held a sign saying : “Don’t believe the propaganda . They’re lying to you here” .
We salute her amazing act of courage.

Modern society has been desensitize to think that violence against women —in all forms— is an inevitable, if regrettable, consequence of war and modern life.
This should not be the case. We must support women who have been silenced, discriminated, abused and prevented access to basic human rights. In a crowd of Ukrainians infuriated by the Russian invasion, I opened my placard saying “I am Russian. I don’t support this sh*t. Putin is a war criminal”.
To me this message is obvious, but people around me were surprised (if not shocked). It seems that there is some sort of expectation that Russians should hate Ukrainians or at least support this war. This is what Kremlin’s propaganda wants you to believe. In reality, only those Russians who have been seriously brainwashed by the state TV would support invasion in Ukraine.
The truth is, it is simply impossible to hate the country where your relatives and friends live—and it is hard to find someone Russian, who has no ties to Ukraine. Everybody has.
It is gut wrenching to watch Russian troops in Ukrainian cities and villages. It’s not some abstract and distant country; it’s the place where you’ve spent your summer breaks, where your cousins live, where your friends and loved ones grew up.
